Founded in 2018, Foodspace is revolutionizing the food sector with technology that creates transparency and efficiency. Our proprietary technology leverages AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision to ensure that a brand’s product information is accurate and relevant.
We are seeking our first sales hire to join our team and drive the company’s revenue. Reporting to the Head of Growth, the Sales Director will engage with prospects to understand their pain points and show how Foodspace addresses them. The Sales Director will be responsible for managing the pipeline and closing business while working to define the required sales process and sales team hiring required. This could be your chance to define how CPG brands respond to changing consumer preferences.
Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing prospects to understand their pain points and show how Foodspace addresses their needs
    • Build and manage the pipeline to qualify and close opportunities
    • Build on Foodspace's early success to create a repeatable sales process
    • Develop and execute a sales staffing plan
    • Work with Marketing to ensure we have the right marketing programs for lead generation and prospect education
    • Work with Customer Success to maximize revenue per customer

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota
    • Strong technical sales cycle experience
    • Sales management experience preferred
    • Experience working at an early stage startup required
    • Experience selling into the enterprise, with a knowledge of how to manage complex sales with multiple contacts
    • Preference given to candidates who have sold into Marketing or e-commerce organizations
